Severn is a friendly not for profit gymnastics and trampolining club, all decisions are taken by the committee who meet on a monthly basis.
We are still in the process of updating our documentation, so some information may contain pre merger names or details.
We are a member of West Midlands Amateur Gymnastics Association and affiliated to British Gymnastics, this allows us to compete regionally.
We have adopted the British Gymnastics 'Health, Safety and Welfare' policy and their 'Child protection Policy'.
All our coaches are fully CRB checked through British Gymnastics
We have produced the following summaries containing the most relevant points of the policies and how they relate to our club.
AGM's are will be held annually in November or December.
Severn Gymnastics and Trampolining came together in 2013 when Severn Trampoline Club and Shrewsbury Gymnastics Club merged.
We are located in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
We welcome members who wish to enjoy gymnastics and or trampolining, whether it be for recreation, exercise, fun or competition entry. We also offer support to people who want to gain or develop coach and judge skills.
Severn is pleased to have gym mark status. This demonstrates that the club is managed to high standards around child safety and welfare, general health and safety, club management and the development of gymnasts and volunteers.
The club is open to everyone of all abilities from ages 4 and above, there is no upper age limit! (some sessions have a minimum age). For members under the age of 7 we ask that an adult stays in the session to help with supervision.
If you are interested in becoming a member or volunteering in any way please contact us, by email or telephone. If you leave a message on the mobile number below we will call you back
Members must register with British Gymnastics when decide to become members of Severn TGC. To make sure we have all the correct contact details we will then ask you to re-register your details with us in September each year.
If you are a qualified coach and would like to join our team please get in touch.
We try to raise money for the club in various ways including sponsored bounces, shopping bag packing, events, lottery funding and other funding bids. Money raised is used to buy new equipment for the club. Recently the club members raised enough to buy our great new tumble track.
Remember if you shop online you can raise money by registering to support us at 'easy fundraising.org.uk' and a percentage of
what you spend when you click through to your online shop from that web site will be donated to the club. You can even book
